The ALS2 courses are in conjunction with Parasol Advanced Life Support Australia, an Australian Resus Council (ARC) accredited provider.

2-day  Full Course overview:

2-day duration commencing at 7:30am for an 8am start with a 6pm conclusion (approximately)
Full-day catering provided.

ARC ALS Certificate valid for 4 years

ARC-issued ALS Provider Wallet Card

Description:

This two-day course focuses on developing advanced skills and knowledge in managing cardiac arrest and other medical emergencies. This course covers advanced resuscitation skills and the development of emergency team leadership abilities. The course is designed for experienced emergency and critical care clinicians including doctors, nurses and paramedics.

 

Prerequisites

All applicants must hold (or be in training for) a professional healthcare qualification and be competent in CPR.

There is a pre-course multiple choice examination required to be completed and brought to the first day of the course. The pre-learning and hard copy exam will be sent to you 1-2 days after your enrolment with the Australian Resuscitation Council Advanced Life Support Level 2 course manual.  

** Please note that completing ALS1 is not a prerequisite for ALS2 courses **

Catering

Catering is provided throughout the course. We can cater for a range of dietary requirements. Please advise of dietary requirements when enrolling for the course.

 

Dress

Neat casual clothing suitable for hands-on CPR practice and enclosed footwear.

 

Who should participate

The course is designed for experienced emergency and critical care clinicians including doctors, nurses and paramedics who are responsible for managing patient deterioration and cardiac arrest, and teaching or leading resuscitation teams.
