1Medical are seeking the assistance of locum Consultant Psychiatrist to work in TAS

Details as below:

• Role: Locum Staff Specialist – Consultant Psychiatrist
• Dates:

3 August 2020 until 1 January 2021 – 5 days per week Monday to Friday

8.30 a.m. until 5 p.m. 

On-call may be required, which may include weekend work and Public Holidays

• Shifts: Day work only - Full-time hours
• Classification: Specialist Medical Practitioner
• Unit: Provides a comprehensive Emergency Department Psychiatric Service and component of Consultation Liaison Service.
• Department of Psychiatry is an acute mental health inpatient facility.
• Support/Supervision: Head of Department
• AHPRA Registration: Evidence of current registration must be provided prior to commencement.
• Criminal History Check: Evidence of a satisfactory National Criminal History Check must be provided prior to commencement. This check is to be no older than 12 months. (Conviction Stat Dec)
• Indemnity: Evidence of current Medical Indemnity (for public and private patients) must be provided prior to commencement
• Flights, accommodation and rental car are provided
• Pay rate of $2,500.00 per day: part-time days will be paid at a pro-rata of the daily rate
